HCC’s popular Engaging With days are a way to teach and engage people with important topics. This time Steve and Bev Jones will be helping us look at What Jesus Did at the Cross in two ways:
Steve: four sessions of teaching throughout the day
Bev: four prophetic art workshop sessions
The day will run from 9.45am–5pm including breaks for coffee and lunch. Please bring a packed lunch, or alternatively visit one of the many cafés in Hexham.
£10 covers the cost of the day, whichever track you choose. Booking forms are available from the HCC office, or you can download one here to print.
Please note forms must be returned to the office with your £10 by Tuesday 9th October.
All are welcome – particularly those from our Taking Ground churches!
Some free long-stay parking bays are available in the Wentworth Leisure Centre car park (approx. 10 mins walk from the church).
Steve will also be speaking at our HCC Sunday service the next morning.
About Steve and Bev:
Steve and Bev live in Oxford and have three daughters. Together, they lead Oxford Community Church. Steve started working for the church after completing a PhD in zoology at Oxford University, has since completed a theology degree, and is in demand as a speaker for churches, theological and leadership training. He is received apostolically by a number of churches, and has led the establishment of a Christian ‘free school’ in Oxford and a conference for Christians working in health and social care. Bev works pastorally, as well as being an artist with a prophetic gift, who loves to help other people develop in both of these areas.
