Andy Barclay-Watt from LifeChurch Manchester will be delivering a day of teaching based on the mandate given to the early church in Acts 1:8 and what we can learn from their attitude towards it: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to all the ends of the earth.” Our Engaging With… days have proved very popular, exploring key Biblical topics and helping to make them relevant to our lives.
The day will run from 9.45am–5pm, comprising four sessions of teaching, some worship, and lunch and coffee breaks. Please bring a packed lunch, or alternatively visit one of the many cafés in Hexham.
£10 covers the cost of the day. Booking forms are available (until 26th Sept) from the church office. If you can’t drop in in person please call 01434 601113 or email office@hexhamcc.com.
All are welcome – particularly those from our Taking Ground churches! If you require accommodation with a local church member/family for the night this can be arranged for £10 – please mention this when booking.
Some free long-stay parking bays are available in the Wentworth Leisure Centre car park (approx. 10 mins walk from the church).
Andy will also be speaking at our HCC Sunday service the next morning.
